Forest 91 in the semi final. Cried my eyes out that day, proud to be hammer but sickened we got so close to Wembley and missed out.
2006 in Cardiff. Although older I still cried. Sickened again

2006 FA Cup Final. My Dad was seriously ill in hospital but insisted that I went to the game. My sister stayed with him and was telling him the scores.
Just after Koncheski scored to put us 3-2 up he died.
The rest of the game and getting from Cardiff is a blur. I just remember rolling in at 3am to a house full of people crying.

Agreed Re; Scott OAKES. That is next to Birmingham for me, fucking gutting and my first experience of a lower league defeat. Chelsea in the Semi would have been epic.

Getting knocked out of the cup 3 - 1 by fucking Swindon. We had three fucking World Cup winners in that team.Then having to wait til about 3 am for a fucking train, Then going into work to hear the derision of my work mates at 7 am.. Nothing has ever come close to that.
The only positive was because I could not get out to the bog, I pissed into an evening paper which I had formed into a receptacle, and dropped it on the floor, a skill that came in very handy in the days of packed terraces.

Playing Everton at home late 60's and standing in the West Stand, where the players used to come out and in front of where the brass band used to play at half time. Anyway the grass was pretty bare at the time but Howard Kendal,l when the teams came out at the start knelt down and pulled up a handful of weed and threw it up in the air, as if to say WHAT A SHIT HOLE.!

Yeah that's up there for me, was there that day as well. Also under Roeder that season I think we got smashed 4-0 at home to WBA.. bad night when I realised it would be a long season.
When we were in the Championship, we lost to Sunderland which meant they won the league and we then missed out on automatic promotion I think.

Never ever allowed this club to make me sad. Mad maybe. Then I am a weirdo. But for the sake of the op the 2006 final. There's me thinking we are going to win the cup the year my son was born but we have been destined to fail.

Remember Forest at home New Years day being a low low point with Newell up front
Although didn't help personally that went to see my Grandad in hospital for one of last times on the way home
